The non-profit WildAid is one of the world’s leading environmental communicators. We got our start creating ad campaigns to reduce the demand for wild animal products like elephant tusks and shark fins. Now that the number one threat to wildlife and humans is environmental destruction, our focus includes an emphasis on encouraging people to live more sustainably and tread more lightly on our planet.
People are worried about the environment, but they have no idea what to do about it, so they do nothing which makes them even more anxious. Average people can be part of environmental solutions and doing something constructive through low carbon lifestyle shifts makes people feel better. It’s a win-win proposition. Up to 70% of carbon emissions can be eliminated through consumer engagement and behavior changes. Our work is urgent because right now, mental health issues related to eco anxiety are spiking, particularly amongst our country’s young people. Our messaging uses sassy copy and bold imagery designed to alleviate anxiety AND reduce carbon pollution at the same time. Both issues are some of the most critical of our time and we need your help to spread the word.
