MS Ends With Us

National Multiple Sclerosis Society:

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. Currently there is no cure. Symptoms vary from person to person and may include disabling fatigue, mobility challenges, cognitive changes, and vision issues. An estimated 1 million people live with MS in the United States. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical to minimize disability. Significant progress is being made to achieve a world free of MS.

The National MS Society, founded in 1946, is the global leader of a growing movement dedicated to creating a world free of MS. The Society funds cutting-edge research for a cure, drives change through advocacy and provides programs and services to help people affected by MS live their best lives. Past Campaigns:

For those living with the disease, MS is a constant companion — it’s unpredictable, it’s inconsistent, and it takes up too much space in people’s lives. But what if you had the chance to confront this unwanted companion? To speak to MS directly and tell it what you really think?

In this campaign, people living with MS do just that. The powerful voices of the MS community stand up to MS and tell the disease that it’s not welcome in their lives, and that its time is nearly up. Through these first-person messages to MS from people in the community, those who are less familiar with MS will better understand the emotional and physical toll the disease has on the entire family. We invite everyone in the movement to join in this cathartic and powerful exercise, to tell the world what it’s like to live with MS and, ultimately, that MS Ends With Us.
