DAV COVID Support

The COVID crisis has hit America’s veterans especially hard.

To address this tragic situation, DAV has created these moving PSAs to raise awareness and to encourage support for DAV’s efforts to help veterans. The message is urgent. The need is critical. Please help by airing this important message.

The PSAs highlight veterans’ hardships as they weather this pandemic. Many have lost their jobs or their businesses. More than half of all veterans are over 60. And many have disabilities and chronic health conditions. As a leading nonprofit charity, DAV has been helping veterans for over 100 years. But today, the need is greater than ever. The PSAs are available in :60 and :30 formats.

Support Victories For Veterans

In 2018, DAV helped veterans reach victories by representing more than 200,000 claims for benefits and provided them with more than 625,000 rides to their medical appointments. All of DAV’s services are provided at no cost to the veteran, their families or survivors.

The newest iteration of the “Victories for Veterans” PSA campaign presents real stories of four real veterans who’ve found victories with help from DAV. In addition, each TV and radio PSA features the voice of film star and decorated veteran of the Marine Corps, Dale Dye. For this Hispanic audiences, there is a Spanish-language version of the “Victories-Naomi” TV PSA :30.
